As far as the crest white strips go. your gums probably became whiter rather than your teeth, due to improper placement. place the strips only over the area that’s not white and let the chemicals in the strip do the work. the chemicals actually spread out further than you think. The 3% hydrogen … The 3% hydrogen should be fine to brush with. if you make a paste with a something strong to leave on your teeth avoid it on your gum as it’ll tingle and burn like and you’ll have white bleeding gums.
You can make a paste with your hydrogen by adding baking soda. Baking soda will take away the odor and make it more like toothpaste. Try adding natural peppermint extract too for that minty taste. I do this but I use water as it’s a pain getting peroxide in the U.K.
Them 23%-36% tooth … Them 23%-36% tooth whitening procucts you see are carbamide peroxide based which I believe breaks down to 1/3 = to normal hydrogen peroxide. I say this as you can buy hydrogen perxide food grade at 36% but this isn’t like carbamide so it’s safe to assume it’s dangerious. So it would be ideal never to use more than 12% hydrogen peroxide.
If I only knew this when I got my braces off!

i totally agree ive seen 6% peroxide bleach materials in seconds. so i personally wont go any stronger than the 3%
