I'm getting a picture taken for a newspaper (colour!) in a few days and my teeth are looking much yellower than they used to be.
I want to try the bicarbonate of soda thing – is this a safe thing to do with braces on my teeth?
I won't keep using it once the pictures have been taken though, as in not long term.
I wouldn't if your getting your braces off anytime soon, because you can't whiten the parts of the teeth under the braces. So you'll have half whitened and half yellow teeth if you were to get them off soon.
And really, if you just want whiter teeth naturally don't drink any pop and brush your teeth after you eat or drink colored drinks.
Seriously you'll see results in a day.

I wouldn't try to whiten your teeth while you have braces on, because the braces are glued to your teeth, so when you get your braces off you'll have marks from where the braces were (more than if you just got them off without whitening)
