tooth whitening system

Oh, the lengths people will go to in order to have whiter teeth. It goes far beyond the morning brushing. Teeth whitening systems and gimmicks have been around for centuries. Perhaps a trip down history lane is in order, if you want a real look at how humanity has evolved in the areas of dental care and whitening teeth. History’s version of a home teeth whitening system has come a long, long way.

Oh, how wonderful it is to get up in the morning and brush your teeth. You should not take it for granted though. The first home teeth whitening step was considered to be just a good brushing of the teeth. Thankfully, you do not have to utilize what your ancestors had to use in order to brush, as they would have used a frayed twig. The twig became outdated when the first toothbrush was designed. It was made out of whittled wood and boar bristles.

Whiter teeth have always been fashionable. Early dentists, a.k.a the nearby barber, would file the tooth surface down before applying a solution of Nitric Acid. The blinding white teeth came with a steep price. This combination is devastating to enamel and the Dandy or Lady found themselves without teeth before long, due to decay. A tooth is only as good as the protection surrounding it.

Think about that fresh minty taste of your toothpaste. Most whitening toothpastes now contain baking soda. It is still a common practice to brush the teeth with baking soda straight out of the Arm & Hammer box. If you do not want that baking soda taste, then you may want to stick with toothpaste. At least the toothpaste no longer contains urine, a common ingredient in the 1800’s!

If it is said once, it will be said a hundred times over your life. Home teeth whitening all starts with following a proper oral hygiene routine. Avoiding tobacco products, red wine and coffee are also great ideas if your goal is to have pearly whites. Do not take for granted how easy it is for modern man to have whiter teeth. At least you do not have to brush with a toothbrush made of pig hair.

Thorough cleaning is the first step to any whitening system, and when you first arrive at your dentist’s office, you will get the plaque flushed out of your gum line and teeth. Your teeth will then be coated by a hydrogen peroxide gel. Once the teeth have all the coating that they need, a laser is worked onto the gel so that it can move more deftly onto the tooth surface. The entire procedure is finished quickly, in about an hour. Most patients sometimes do not need to go back for more sessions.

Although most dentist teeth whitening can be completed in a single session, severe staining may take more than one treatment to achieve desired results. You may also opt to buy a touch up kit from your laser dentistry professional, who may offer it to you after your whitening session. The kit will be used for touch up areas that may get stained again once you get home. You may also get in touch with a dental office that gives you the option for getting treatment for a lifetime, so that you can always come in for touch-ups when necessary. Little time and cost are involved in these options, and they can certainly allow you to maintain your whitest smile.

Teeth whitening has undergone major changes since it first began. Today’s whitening procedures take very little time to complete and provide dramatic results that most patients are very satisfied with. Some dental offices even offer options in terms of financing so that you can afford the procedures. If you are interested in a whitening procedure for your smile, contact a specialist in this area for more information.

You can use Baking-Soda and Peroxide, it work well with me. When you brush your teeth with your regular tooth paste you can brush with them. Do this about 3 times a week all the time.

1. put them in two different cups
2. brush with the baking-soda don't rinse, then the peroxide
3. rinse your mouth out and repeat

It want have the best of taste but at least your teeth will whiten.
If you want you can use the Crest-Whitening Strip same ingredeance.

P.S. Don't forget to floss LOL(:)
