A lot of people are considering having teeth whitening treatments to attain the bright smile that they ever dream of and as an answer to these demands teeth whitening treatments and products flourished.

Considering also the teeth whitening cost may depends on certain factors. How the dentist performs the procedure and the location where it is performed are factors considered in teeth whitening procedures, procedures done in metropolitan areas tend to be more expensive and that also applies to general health care. Another factor that affects the cost of a teeth whitening treatment is the brand of product or treatment, popular or known products tend to be more expensive than the others.

Teeth whitening treatments that may last for several months may cost $450-$500 or more and that still depends on your maintenance for cheaper treatment like teeth whitening strips it can cost you about $25 and can be available over the counter. For immediate results you can have professional teeth whitening treatments which can be expensive and procedure may cost from $400-$900 but still it depends on the factors : brand of the product, provider and the location.

Effective and safe teeth whitening treatments can be less expensive with natural teeth whitening products. They are safe to use for they do not contain harsh ingredients that may cause irritation and damage to tooth and gums. They are also effective for they contain carbamide peroxide, a safe and natural bleaching agent.

I heard that if you add baking soda with peroxide it really whitens your teeth. Is this true? please tell from personal experience! If not, what does work?

Yes it works you can give it a try. Lemon juice, baking soda or baking powder can also be used for teeth whitening. Rubbing the bark of walnut tree brightens the teeth. Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners, simply rub them directly on your teeth or mash into a paste and apply. Apple cider vinegar can also be used for teeth whitening.More remedies and information regarding your teeth at useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/

I am picking up trays and the whitening from my dentist next week to do at home. I need to put in the trays 3 hours a day for 3 weeks. Did someone ever do this? Can I open my mouth when the trays are in or do I have to have my mouth shut and not move for 3 hours? I have sinusitis so my nose is really congested. I’m wondering how will I breathe if I can’t open my mouth?

You can open and close your mouth and go about your business at home. You just can’t eat or drink while they trays are in because you don’t want to swallow the whitening products or wash them out of the tray.

Hope that helps. =)

well as it says above what are peoples opinions on the best home teeth whitening kit you can buy, my teeth are not badly stained at all i would just like bling bling white teeth! Thanks In Advance

Hi my friend,

This is probably not what you were expecting to hear, but please be open-minded and hear me out because I want to help you.

My dentist told me $400 for the trays of professional whitener professionally molded to the shape of your teeth.
($200 top, $200 bottom)

but if I wait until January, it's discounted to only $300
($150 top, $150 bottom)

My dentist also offers Zoom which uses light to whiten, but that costs $800 and does the same thing.

Both options my dentist offered are 10x better than the whiten-at-home things, and they are done professionally.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE WHITEN-AT-HOME SCAMS!

You see, for only $300 I can get my teeth professionally whitened, but if I spend $80 like ten times over the course of several years for the ones like Luminous Brites (SCAM), I could have just as easily spent that $800 on the light-whitening thing at the dentist, or I could do the $300 option that is just as good, and used the other $500 on something more important.

Also, think about the time you'll have to spend doing it yourself – not to mention most people never even finish one set of them because it's tedious!

Also, all the ones you can do yourself like Lumious Brites (SCAM) many people have reported it causing sensitive gums, which is a serious dental issue and could cost you another $1,000 – $3,000 in dentist costs!

So just save like $300 and get your dentist to professionally do it for you. Then you have no worries!

Also it's just a waste of money to pay for the light-whitening or laser-whitening. The dentist makes a ton of money off it too, so don't let him/her sell you on it! It really works no better than the professional whitening that is placed in a plastic/rubber/ish [professional] impression of your teeth.

Also your dentist knows what he's doing and if he screws up you can sue him for malpractice so at least you have a fall-back plan so you don't get screwed up gums and stuck with a $3,000 dental bill. If you screw up your gums yourself, you have no fall-back plan; and plus you're not an expert but your dentist is.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

What at home teeth whitening system claims it’s “the cool way to whiten teeth”?

I saw someone with it but didn’t catch the brand… I WANT TO BE COOL LOL

Teeth whitening is commonly accomplished by applying a bleaching agent to the teeth. The longer the bleaching agent is applied the better it works. Or at least this is how every teeth whitening system is marketed.

The problem is that you really need to use a system that mimics what you would get at a Dentists office but in a more affordable at home do it yourself kit.

You see whitening toothpastes only contain minimal whitening agents and so for the few minutes alone in brushing your teeth it would take an extremely long time to produce any noticeable change.

Whitening “strips” while more effective then toothpaste again only contain mild oxidization activators within the “strip” so here again the results tend to take longer and not as long lasting.

You really need to find a system that is similar to the ones that dentists use, but in a more affordable solution. These tend to work much more effectively and doesn’t cost you hundreds of dollars like a trip to the dentist would.

While there are many great brands out there that follow this “dentists system” for a great home teeth whitening kit check out
