I use to use Crest Pre-Brush Whitening Rinse on my teeth before I got braces. Now that I have braces, my teeth are starting to yellow a little bit because I have not been using the whitener. Is it okay to use the rinse with braces?
it's better to wait until your braces come of because if you do it before then you'll have spots of yellow where the braces used to be and white all around.
any tips, im already going to get sensodine whitening because i love that toothpaste but i want to see what you recommend as a tooth whitener.
Crest Whitestrips really, really work, kind of expensive but worth it if you want whiter teeth without having to go to the dentist and spend 100’s of dollars.
Heading to the store to buy an at-home tooth whitener / bleaching system. What's the best brand / product out there? I am hoping to see good results in a relatively short period of time. No whitening toothpastes that take a month to see a difference. Thanks!
I don't think there is an at-home whitening kit that is really gonna give you noticable results. I tried Crest White Strips, they made my teeth sensitive and sometimes they ached. Even after all of that, I didn't really notice a difference.
Whatever you decide, once it's done, stay away from food and beverages that can stain your teeth (coffee, tea, blueberries, etc.)
If you can afford to have your teeth whitened by a dentist (approx $250), that is the way to go. You'll be much happier with the results and you won't waste lots of time with OTC stuff.
I've tried the Rembrandt tooth whitener (about 5 tubes that you use over a certain amount of weeks). It made my teeth a few slight shades whiter but I realized that after consistently using it, one day, it starting to make my teeth slightly yellow! It's like the process reversed itself! I know - it doesn't make sense but I tried their system twice and this happened both times. I've tried Crest White Strips but it makes my gums TOO sensitive. The stuff is terrible. It works but the chemical are too harsh on the gums. What do you suggest? What has worked? I can't take anything that will make my teeth or gums sensitive. Toothpaste? Strips? Trays?
try hydrogen peroxide water gargle, use salt water after
